Seattle Travel Diary – Arrived at 9

Got on the plane at around 4:30am and was feeling a bit cranky about being up so early. After a sleepy flight, we learned the ropes of Seattle. We got a shuttle to our hotel and they allowed us to park our luggage until check in at 4pm.

We took public transportation to Pike Place and enjoyed the good samples and other pleasures of a huge outdoor market. We saw the first Starbucks.

A mile or so away is Seattle Center, a mishmash of museums and science playthings. We ate spicy fish tacos for lunch. We’re all pretty tired so it’s time to head back to the hotel and plan dinner as well as tomorrow. More food and fun are in order! The consensus is: Seattle Rocks!
